Poll: How important are the ingredients in cosmetics and household products to you?

Last month’s poll

In August, we talked about the value of keeping a journal. Out of 28 voters, 14% document their food intake, 25% keep a personal, handwritten diary, 4% keep a personal, online diary, 29% write a public blog, 21% used to write a journal but no longer do, 7% would like to write a journal but don’t at present, and 0% have no desire to journal. I adore writing (and reading :)) journals!

This month’s poll

We’re spending much of September discussing the ingredients in cosmetics and household products, so I think that this is a good time to conduct a poll to see how many people use natural products! Answer the poll and elaborate on your answer in the comments section below.

The Allergy Perspective: the ingredients are very very very important to me, but their effect on the environment is secondary to their effect on me, and the short-term allergy effect is more important than any long term health effects they might have.

And I should point out that “healthy ingredients” are not equivalent to “natural ingredients.”

The good news is that in the past ten years it has become much easier to find products that are truly fragrance free, not just claiming to be.

Very true. I agree. There are many things which are supposedly “natural” which can actually harm us. The problem with the term “healthy”, I suppose, is that different people may mean different things by it.
