How to look fashionable when you feel blah

In a perfect world, we’d all look and feel great 100% of the time.

This isn’t a perfect world.

(But you can pretend it is by following the suggestions below!)

Even if you don’t feel 100%, you can still look the part. Own it by following these simple tips for looking fabulous, even when you’re feeling under the weather!

How to look fabulous:

  • Find comfort clothes. If you are feeling under the weather or are just having a bad day, this is a time when you need comfort. So wear something you love and which feels nice. Wear something that feels like a hug! In the spring, I often wear a light dress with an empire waist. In the winter, my comfort clothes are more often than not a chunky oversized sweater. It’s about having a couple go-to items that are comfortable and make you feel good about yourself, no matter what.
  • Add some sparkle. Just because you don’t feel great, doesn’t mean you can’t look great—and jewelry is an easy way to make this work, without any real effort on your part. Find a pair of dangly earrings, a cocktail ring, or an elaborate necklace—they’ll make even the plainest clothes pop.
  • Slick on your favorite pick-me-up. Get out your favorite red lipstick! Don’t wear lipstick? Not a problem. Shoes, a hair accessory, or a bag all work well as a quick and easy pick-me-up. I like red lipstick since it’s simple and show-stopping.
  • Don’t go outside. Just forget about fashion for the day and hide indoors. (Who came onto my blog and wrote that?! :)).
  • Put a smile on your face and walk with confidence. Easily your most fashionable accessory.

Even if you aren't feeling your best self, you can still look great! These are quick and easy tips for looking fabulous, no matter what.
