A Year in Review
Today I want to focus on the positive. In fact, I want to talk about an entire year of positivity! Now that we’ve reached the end of 2010, it’s time for some reflection on the past 12 months and what they brought us.
My year in review
January: I purchased my very first home.
February: I began yet another blog, Health Writer Eats.
March: I started working my way through emotional eating (again) and my nutritionist friend Nicole and I started really cracking down on working on our book about food relationships.
April: I said goodbye to renting and moved into my beautiful condo.
May: I graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a B.A. in theΒ Rhetoric, Writing, and Communication department.
June: I went on my first-ever backcountry camping/hiking trip with the boyfriend – and it was glorious.
July: I made myself business cards and began my freelance writing/editing career.
August: I travelled to New York and met some great people at the BlogHer conference.
September: I launched The Food Label Movement with my nutritionist friend, Nicole.
October: I started my first-ever public relations job as a communications specialist for the Misericordia Health Centre Foundation, which I am still happily doing part-time today.
November: I learned more about local eating when I visited a farm for the first time and got to eat the first harvest from my urban indoor community garden.
December: I published my first e-book, Healthy Living How-To: Building Health and Happiness in All Areas of Life.
It’s been a wonderful year π

2010 was a bit rough for me & hoping for a better 2011….. it better be or else! π
You’ve got my good wishes for a better 2011 π
Oh what a wonderful year indeed!!! You deserve it!!! I know you’ve work hard for all of this, but it’s still nice that it has come to pass so possitively!
I hope you’re gearing up to welcome 2011 in grand style, to atract only more success and happiness for this year!
My year has been, well, intense and bipolar! First six months: working like a lunatic. Last six months: recovering. 2011 will be more balanced, way calmer, and increasibly healthier. That’s all I want!
Balance and health is happiness right there.
WOW, Sagan, you’ve had such a wonderful year in so many ways! In your career, your personal life…it’s been so exciting to see you go through all of these big events. π
This might be cheating, but 2010 was a rough one for me – *but* I think I’m ending it on a good note. I’m planning on making 2011 the BEST yet. No other options allowed!
Think positive! π
Congratulations on a great year. What I am most impressed by was your decision to reflect on the positives rather than obsess about any negatives. Way to go.
